My stillen fascia is beat, so I began stripping the paint the other day to prep for new paint. I was going to go today and get it matched, and the guy said that I don't need flex agents for the urethane- the new paints flex enough. I am skeptical of this... Also, he said I just need base and clear, no primer. I was looking through search and saw that there is a baking process to release the mold agents or something before painting. Is this only before the first time it's painted, or does it need to be done for every repaint? Should I even attempt this myself, or should I pay the bodyshop the 4-500 to get it perfect, when I know it's only going to get beat up soon?
Later, Matt
